Make a Carousel Post - the Instagram trick that gives you DOUBLE exposure

Instagram carousel posts or photo carousels have been around for a while now, but did you know that you actually get rewarded when you post "carousels"?
Let's say I see your post in my feed but don't give it any attention - neither liking nor commenting. "Okay..." thinks Instagram and does the following the next time I open the app: it shows another image from your carousel post instead!
But what is a photocarousel?
A carousel is a post with more than one image. You know the post has more than one image when you see two dots under the images.
So, if I didn't "like" the first photo in your carousel post, the Instagram algorithm can pick another photo that it thinks I'll respond to instead. In this way, Instagram gives you the chance to get more engagement on your post and therefore more visibility. How good?
