Travel for work – 3 reasons to stay together in an apartment instead of a hotel

Yes, you read it right! Skip the hotel next time you are traveling for work.
Why not join us when we went to Barcelona and built Gapwave's stand at Mobile World Congress? That is, rent an apartment on Airbnb where you all live together. It'll be cheaper than staying in a hotel, but more importantly, you won't believe how useful and fun it is to be so close to each other for an extended period of time!
1. Break Your Routines
You'll quickly become aware of your own behaviors (both good and bad) when you live together with others. Drinking your morning coffee with your colleagues in pajamas, is a great way to go outside your comfort zone.
2. Getting to know new pages with each other
What do your colleagues eat for breakfast? Who's early risers and who are evening owls? Seeing and taking into account other people's routines will make you grow as a group, which you will be able to take advantage of in working life at home.
3. Allow yourself to be pleasantly surprised
When the five of us at Front Row Exhibitions (we must not forget me, Annika behind the camera 😉 ) rented apartment in Barcelona, we learned how well we actually complement each other! So allow yourself to be surprised.
